Responsibilities:
- Implement Montessori curriculum and educational activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Observe and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and staff.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom, ensuring materials are accessible and well-organized.
- Encourage social and emotional development through guided interactions and conflict resolution.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress and school activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Montessori certification preferred.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting, preferably in a Montessori environment.
- Strong understanding of child development and Montessori principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to different learning styles.
- Passion for nurturing children’s growth and fostering a love for learning.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Background check required prior to employment.
